Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday May 14th, 2018

The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:06 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. –  President Dave Gilmour

Attendance: (13 Members)  Cindy Thomas, Dave & Patti Gilmour, Debbie Allardyce, Francine Gillanders, Doris Avery, Tammy Ranta, Michael Hockley, Jenny & Michael Catton, Marta Nettelfield, Keith Lawson, Mary Curl

Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.

Minutes: 

Dave: I would like to call this meeting to order and would like to have everyone type in their name for attendance
                Dave: Everyone should of had a chance to review last month's minutes. Are there any errors or omissions ?

Reading of General Correspondence:  Cindy Thomas

• Cindy: Received a letter of event approval from the CKC for the BCC Regional Specialty & Junior Handling to be held September 8, 2018, in Jerseyville, ON.
• Received an application Monika Pinsker to hold a BCC Regional Specialty, Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes to be held in conjunction with the Renaissance Dog Association Shows on April 20, 2019, in Chilliwack, BC.
• Mary: Regarding The letter of approval noted at the last meeting was from the CKC for a Specialty we did not apply for.

Good & Welfare:  Lillian Wainwright

• Mary (For Lillian): I just found out that Anne McDougall is in hospital awaiting a bypass.
• Michael Catton is going in for knee surgery next week.
• Dave: We will be sure to send good vibes his way. I will be looking for good vibes later this year as I am going in for dual knee surgery in either Sept or Oct.
• Jenny: Replacement, Dave??
• Dave: I am getting partials as half of each knee is still like new.

• Dave: This is not really new business but the Canadians proved we are a force to be reckoned with at the ABC again

Dave: If there is no new business i would like to move this meeting be adjourned.  Seconded by Mary.
