Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday October 1st, 2018
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:00 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. –  President Dave Gilmour

Attendance: (15 Members) Keith Lawson, Jenny and Michael Catton, Tammy Ranta, Christine Burton, Michael Hockley, Francine Gillanders, Karen Broadway, Kimberly Smith, Dave & Patti Gilmour, Shirley Bell, Doris Avery, Karen Parton, Marta Nettelfield

Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.

Minutes: 

Dave: Good evening everyone I would like to start the meeting with everyone typing in your name for attendance

                Dave: Everyone should of had time to read last month's minutes. Was there any errors or omissions?

Dave: If not I move the minutes be adopted as written.

Dave: Is there any business arising from the minutes?              None

Treasurer’s Report – Kim

• August 2018 Balance - $8611.51
• Credit – S/C - $19.00, Paper Statement - $2.00, Mary Curl (Chat room) - $25.53, Cindy Thomas (2 postage, 2 get well cards and remaining $15.00 from gift certificate) 
• Debit – Nil
• September Balance - $8536.90
• Jenny: Was a donation made for Betty Rouse?
• Dave: Only a card was sent that I know of
• Jenny: I would like to make a motion that we make our usual donation in her name
• Dave: Donations have not been done for years that I know of
• Shirley: Donation to where?
• Jenny: She wanted it to go to the Oakville and Tralgar Hospital
• Shirley: Was not aware that we did that.
• Dave: It hasn't been done for as long as I remember
• Jenny: I rescind my motion

• Dave: While waiting for Cindy we will move onto old business. Is there any old business to discuss?

Good & Welfare:  Lillian Wainwright - not in attendance

• Christine: Lillian was discharged from the hospital
• Dave: That is great news. I am sure she is glad to be home
