Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on Monday June, 3rd, 2019
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:43 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President: Dave Gilmour

Attendance (17 members):  Dave & Patti Gilmour, Christine Burton, Anne McDougall, Doris Avery, Kat Hueggenberg, Keith Lawson, Lillian Wainwright, Mary Curl, Mike Hockley, Marta Nettelfield, Shirley Bell, Tammy Ranta, Mellissa & Mark Mathers, Paul & Judy Wilcox

Dave: I would like to call the Annual General Meeting to order and have everyone sign in

Question from Anne: I have all the old records here for Frank and Betty Rouse, I brought it up before, was it ever decided what to do with them
Dave: No we have not Anne

Dave: Everyone should of seen last AGM's minutes by now. Was there any errors or omissions?

• If not, I move the minutes be accepted as written

Treasurer’s Report – Kim Long - not in attendance
Dave: Kim is not able to be here but will have a report to post when Mary puts up the minutes.

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Dave Gilmour: All other reports were covered during the general meeting so they don't need to be covered

Mary: I forgot to mention that the Annual Awards are posted on the website.

Dave: We didn't cover off one report in the general meeting and that was special service award. We had one nominee and would like to congratulate Marta Nettelfield.

• Mary: A plaque will be sent to you shortly Marta
• Marta: Thank you all so much!

Dave: Can I have the results of this year’s elections

• Mary: We have not had any people respond to the Corresponding Secretary spot yet.  The Committee is working on it and will get back to us as soon as they can

Dave: We will not be increasing membership dues this year

Dave: We have a couple directors reports which will be attached to the minutes

• Mary: If any other Directors would like to send me reports I can include them

Dave: Does anyone have any other business they would like to discuss?

Anne: the BCC records, any suggestions??

• Lillian: how far do they go back
• Anne: I don't know Lillian, I have not been through them
  

Dave: If no other new business I would like to move this meeting be adjourned and would like to thank everyone who took the time out to attend. I hope you all have a great summer/

Kim Long -- -- BCC NB/PEI Director:
Nothing to report.  Everything quiet

Patti Gilmour -- BCC Saskatchewan Director
Doris and Dennis Avery attended two weekends of dog shows in April and Doris teamed with “Vader” to put two rally titles on him. They were awarded a Rally Novice the first weekend and the second weekend they achieved a Rally Intermediate title. What awesome teamwork and quickly done! Vader is Champion Bimberg’s Dark Devotion, RN, RI.

Rally novice was earned at the Hub City dog show and Rally Intermediate was earned at the Regina Kennel and Obedience Club dog show.

The 2019 Boxer Club of Canada National was held in Caledonia, ON on June 9, 2019 in conjunction with the Erie Shores Kennel Club All Breed Show. 

Best in Sweeps under Judge Mr. Jean Tremblay was Ch. Haltonhills Tickitbou Swan Song and Best Veteran in Sweeps was GCh. Envision Glitter in The Air. 

We had the honour of Judge Mr. David Strachan, Boxer Breeder from Australia join us for our Specialty this year. The 2019 National BOB winner AND the BPIS winner was Ch Tybrushe’s Livin Notoriety.  The BOS winner was Gr.Ch. Thank you to all exhibitors who enter this year’s show and to all those who helped organize.  We had people travel from one end of the country to the other to help support the Boxer Club of Canada as well as some US entries.  The venue was wonderful and we had beautiful weather.  Until next year!!
