Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday November 4th, 2019
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:01 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President David Gilmour
Attendance: (13 members) Dave & Patti Gilmour, Mary Curl, Marta Nettelfield, Karen Parton, Doris Avery, Keith Lawson, Francine Gillanders, Paul & Judy Wilcox, Lillian Wainwright, Cindy Thomas, Jane Holicka
Michael Hockley logged in and then out and could not get back in.
Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.
Dave: Good evening everyone. I would like to call this meeting to order and we will start with attendance. If you could please type in your name for roll call.

- Cindy: Do you want Life Members to still fill out a form Doris?
- Doris: I don't think we need the form for Life Members. Will let you know if that changes

Reading of General Correspondence:
- Dave: From Jane Holika: re: her daughter - Caroline has competed with our boxer in Junior National and they’ve finished 4th. It was Caroline’s last appearance in the Junior ring.
- She sent pictures which will be added to the website
- Mary: Thank you note from Sheri-Lynn Herd re: sympathy card re: Noretta Herd.
- Mary: The Alberta Boxer Club is applying for a regional specialty in August 2020 in Edmonton at the Edmonton Kennel Club show
Old Business:
- Mary: Re: The Application for Regional specialty Sept 2020 from Christine Burton with Oakville Kennel Club.
- As no other requests have come in this is approved
- Dave: STILL NEED!
- Corresponding Secretary???? Anyone interested
- We still need a Corresponding Secretary to take over come September: ( Mary: I can’t do it all!!!)
- The duties of the Corresponding Secretary shall be to handle all day-to-day correspondence of The Club and to assist the Recording Secretary as necessary.
- Any complaints alleging improper conduct on the part of any member shall be passed to the Chair of the Discipline Committee for the required action. The complaint will not be discussed or made public until such time as the Discipline Committee has completed its inquiry into the matter.
