Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday October 7, 2019
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:01 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. –  Secretary Mary Curl

Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.
Mary: I would like to call this meeting to order. If we could start things off by typing in our names for attendance
Mary:

• The Club is saddened by the passing of Anne McDougall on Sept 30th, 2019\ Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date Link to Obituary: https://tinyurl.com/yy3vatah
• We are also sad for Doris's loss of her husband Dennis.  I have no further information.  So sorry Doris.

Minutes:

• Mary: Shirley did a presentation this weekend in London and I was told it went very well

Reading of General Correspondence:

• Mary: We have an Application for Regional specialty Sept 2020 from Christine Burton with Oakville Kennel Club.
•  Includes Jr Handling & free lunch
• The CWDF has now sent its request to the CKC to select next year's FCI IGP World Championship Team Canada, and Sherry will reach out to the breed clubs for approval

• Paul: Major brag! My boy "Scottie" Wilking's Eternal Ring Of Fire PCD SDDA-S CAX5 became the first dog & Boxer to achieve this title in Canada!!
• Marta: Deuce is now VB SD-CH CH Papageno's Red Serge RN, NS, CAX, SD-E, TT - he`s the first boxer in Canada to earn his Sporting Detection Dog Assoc Championship 
• Mary (and many others): Big Congratulations to you both
