Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday May  4th, 2020
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President David Gilmour

Attendance – 13 members: Kim Long, Francine Gillanders, Cindy Thomas, Dave & Patti Gilmour, Doris Avery, Mary Jane Nowak, Christine Burton, Mary Curl, Jane Holicka, Leah Quiring, Micheal Hockley, Jenny & Micheal Catton

Reminder: A quick reminder that there is a prize at the end of the year for everyone that has attended a meeting, served on the exec or a committee. You get one entry for every meeting attended, committee served on or exec position. They go into a hat at the end of the year and a name is drawn.

Minutes: 
Dave: Good evening All. I would like to call this meeting to order. If everyone could type your name for attendance sake please.
Everyone should of read the last minutes. Are there any errors or omissions?

• Dave: If no errors or omissions I move the minutes be accepted as written, seconded by Jenny

Treasurer’s Report – Kim Long:

• March Balance: $7008.27 
• Credit – Service Charge - $19.00, Paper Statement - $2.00, Attendance Award - $50.00
• Debit – Nil 
• Apr-31, 2020: Balance - $6937.27

Kim: If no questions, I move my report. 2nd by Doris

Show Committee: Mary, Shirley, Patti, Dave

• I would say that all trophy donations will be saved for next year

Membership Committee: Doris

• Doris: Welcome to Ricky Arruda who will be starting his Probationary Membership this month.

Discipline Committee:  Shirley Bell

• Shirley: Nothing to report

Obedience Committee:  Marta Nettelfield, not in attendance

• No Report

Awards Committee: Mary, Shirley, Marta, Cindy                                                                                                                                                        

• Mary: A few more people sent in applications. I will try to get the full list together for the next meeting.

Special Service Award Committee: Debbie Allardyce - not in attendance

• No Report

Fund Raising Committee:  Patti

• No Report

Dave Next is the nomination committee which I will speak to

Nomination Committee: Doris, Francine, Karen

• Mary: I made an error: Ontario Central was not vacant. Jane Holicka was named director last year. My apologies.
• Doris: I haven't received any notice for anyone wanting to run for any of the vacant spots.
• Dave: Any nominations for the positions up for election this year?
• Doris: No none at all.
• Dave: Thx Doris.
• Dave: As the nomination committee has not received any nominations for the positions up for election and the executive were letting their names stand so they are elected by acclamation.
• Dave: Thanks go out to Francine, Doris and Karen for being our nomination committee.

Judges Education Committee: Shirley, Mary Dave

Reading of General Correspondence:

• Dave: Mary did you receive any general correspondence from Melissa?
• Mary: No

New Business: None

Good & welfare: Lillian

• Mary: from Lillian: everyone appears to be OK / healthy --- staying home, staying 6 ft apart, staying healthy
