- Lillian: Anyone else sick?
- Mary: Shirley Bells' husband has just had surgery
New Business:
- Marta: We had a young boxer girl come into rescue, 8 mths old. Very bad shape. After extensive diagnostics, the vet ascertained that she had a liver shut (plus SAS was previously diagnosed). Cost of the surgery was $6,000-$8000. There was no way we could afford it, nor justify it. Then the vet stepped up and offered to do the surgery pro bono, with us just covering his costs. Avan had the surgery on Friday and is back with her foster mom, so far recovering nicely.
- My request - I'd like everyone to send this wonderful bet a thank you card.
- Dr. Mark Norman Fish Creek 24 Hour Pet Hospital 3125, 150 Millrise Blvd. SW Calgary Alberta Canada T2Y 5G7
- Discussion: Mike will send the Vet a BCC shirt and a letter of thanks
Dave: Before we break for the evening I would like to give a big thank you to everyone that took the time to sign in on tonight’s meeting. This is one of the best turnouts we have had in awhile
And good luck to everybody at the National in Chilliwack this weekend.
