• RE: Erie Shores booster: Shirley: Erie Shores were good enough to release Boxers for the Saturday and asked that we have a booster Friday...as a courtesy I said I would ask.  I would also look after getting appropriate trophies to them for the booster.
• Jenny called a vote Re: Erie shores Booster - Could we vote now to give Erie Shores the Booster for Fri so that we can have the Boxers released for Sat?
• Shirley: They have already been released it does not depend on the booster
• Motion Carried.

Old Business:

• Anne asked if Norah had any more info on the collection clinic that was proposed
• Norah: I am waiting for a second quote
• Jenny: First - Lillian The new CKC few structure, The charging of Life Members for the Dogs in Canada  magazine is outrageous. I believe that the BCC, as a club, should author a letter of objection to both the CKC and Dogs in Canada.
• Mary: That was discussed last meeting and as per the minutes: o Mike asked if Lillian could prepare a letter for the executive to review.
• Shirley: Each Life member should write themselves
• Jenny: yes - we still have not received anything - so I am tabling this until we hear something from Lillain about this & see if hse has a letter for us yet. Just wanted to bring it up so that it is in the minutes.
• Jenny:  Update re the discussion we had at the AGM re awards & the criteria for the awards, etc. I believe Kristi & Medley have been working on it & also that Kristi you have a new item/award you possibly wanted to talk about?
• Kristi: As of January 1 2007 the CKC implemented a new award called a Grand Champion...There is quite a huge list of requirements to obtain this award.  Medley and I feel that the Boxer club of Canada should recognize this award. I think that at this point there are only 2 or 3 boxers that have attained it.
• Ðeb S: would the boxers that allready received this award with CKC  be able to now apply for this award with BCC?
• Kristi: Yes we will pick it up
• I was hoping that we could do something other than plaques...
• Mary: I think the statistician should have the say in what is offered for that award
• Mary moved that we add Grand Champion to our list of awards, seconded by Deb Schenher

• Motion Carried
• We also have discussed changing a few of the annual awards.. in some cases just the wording...in some cases the tabulations
• Norah would like to know where the old perpetual trophies & the table cloth are
• Anne: I have the table cloth
• Mike: The last I heard of them they were at Eve Whitmore's
• Bernice:  The trophies were badly beaten up, people who won them did not look after th em,  they spent their time in the garage and looked horrible. they were beyond redemption
• Mike: The last time I saw them they were in terrible shape but if someone can track them down I will have a look at them to see if they can be salvaged
• Jenny: If anyone is interested in taking over as Correspondence Secretary please email me. Mary has volunteered to help with the role until we have a replacement Corresponding Sec.

Good & Welfare:  Lillian Wainwright
New Business:

• Paul dulong: BCCO has made application to the CKC and been approved to hold a Specialty show in Oshawa  (out of its area) on Sat June 4th in conjunction with the NOBC. NOBC will be in the morning and BCCO in the afternoon. We are trying to make this truly a Boxer weekend and hopefully increase the entries for the National.  This may be the only time we ever have this opportunity.  Let's make this  "BOXER EXTRAVAGAZA" greatest Boxer weekend yet.......
• Shirley: It has taken nearly a year of negotiating & planning
• Anne:  thanks to all who have worked so hard to make this happen
• Shirley re-capped: The first weekend in June.....3, Booster at Erie Shores, 4th NOBC Specialty Oshawa, PM, BCCO Specialty and June 5 BCC National; PLUS............the Heart Echo clinc with Dr. Braz-Rivuos
• Paul Wilcox: With two shows will there be enough spaces for RV'S
• Shirley: Those things are still being worked on
• Marta: will there be any Obedience planned for the 4th
• Shirley: With 2 shows in one day....no obedience.
• Anne: Norah was to see if the field next to hotel would let us put trailers there, Norah??
• Norah:  still working on it - need to find out who owns it to get permission
• Paul W. Asked about the judges
• Shirley:
• NOBC – Specialty judge: Monica Pinsker, Sweeps – Dave Gilmour – there will also be a Baby Puppy class in the regular Specialty
• BCCO – jspecialty judge – Eve Whitmore
• BCC: Specialty judge – Hal Beirman, Sweeps – Ginny Shames
• Sandra Beck: OK this is half baked... the Dogwood Boxer club meets next week to decide on their 2011 specialty venue. I would like to ask for pre-approval for regional obed (BCC) in BC date venue to be decided.
• Mary: Application forms mst be filled out and announced at a meeting
• Jenny: I would think that if the Reg Spec is approved there should not be a prob with having the obed BUT that being said - you need to get all of the paperwork & approvals for the event through Dogwood & then through us.

Paul Dulong motioned to adjourn, Deb Schenher seconded, accepted.  Meeting adjourned at 9:41  p.m.
Next Meeting:   January 3rd, 2011 – 8 p.m. Ontario time.
