Minutes of the General Meeting held on Monday Jan 7, 2013
The meeting was called to order at approx. 8:01 p.m. - on-line Moderator/Chair. – President: Dave Gilmour

Minutes:  Dave asked: If everyone has had a chance to read last meetings minutes and if there were any errors or emissions?
No errors or omission. Moved by Paul Dulong, seconded by Mary Jane Nowak that the minutes be accepted

Treasurer’s Report - Paul Dulong

• Treasurer's Report at Dec 31'12 - Receipts: Membership 1,650.00... Trophy Donations 95.00..... BCC Charitable Trust 50….  Disbursements: Bank Fees 7.48..... Closing Balance 6,760.91..  
  
• 2013 Membership Receipts To date - 34 Family & 47 Singles for 2,995.00 plus Donation 291.00 as well as 4 Life Member donations 175.00 …TOTAL 3,511.00……….4 Family & 10 Single memberships are outstanding at Dec 31st.

Show Committee:

• Mary: The Committee will be meeting shortly to discuss the National here in Ontario

Publicity: Linda Norris – No Report
Trophy Committee: Anne – No report
Awards Committee: Kristi Wagg – Not in attendance -No report
Programme:  Lillian

• sent Mary a program to be posted on Toxic Foods
• Secretary’s note: Mary did not receive it

Membership:

• Dave: Patti won't be able to be online tonight but had nothing new. As there has been no objections to the Werleman's and Lewis application they are now probationary members:  

Discipline Committee:  Frank Rouse (Not in attendance) –

• Jenny reported – not report

Obedience Committee:  Marta Nettelfield – No report

• Cindy: Just a reminder to those who are applying for Regionals or Nationals that the BCC is licensed to hold Obedience Trials and Rally Obedience Trials. Please think about holding these!

Fund Raising Committee:  Paul Medeiros – not in attendance - No report.
Special Service Award: Debbie – No report

Reading of General Correspondence:  Cindy Thomas – No Correspondence

 Old Business: 

• Dave:  As we have had no other applications in regards to a regional in Manitoba or a regional in BC or the 2014 National in Alberta they a\re all approved. Cindy could you please notify them to keep the correspondence flowing
  
• Sandra: Anything new on the black boxer & CKC colour reg issue
• Dave: They don't seem to really want to deal with it at this time as they said they haven't actually registered any recently as actual black boxers
• Lillian: the outcome will be the same as the issue we had a few years back on the white boxer... reg. dept claim if it is pure bred it is to be registered... thus the white get registered.
• Dave: The difference here Lillian there isn't an actual color choice for black on the registration form
• Mary: White is a genetic possibility and black is not as far as we know so far
• Lillian: there will be if any more get regi.... there was no acutal choice for whites many years ago.. but people wrote in the colour
• Dave: I have been in contact with Bruce Cattanach and will be chatting with him some more as he says there is nothing in the genetic coding that would make a true black boxer

Good and Welfare: Lillian

• Dave: Lillian had also said she didn't have anything for good and welfare. We hadn't said anything to you yet Lillian but Patti lost her dad three days before Christmas..
• Lillian: should have sent me an email - will deal with the card tomorrow
