- Jenny asked when are we able tyo book the rooms?
- Anne: Anytime
- Christine: How many RV parking spaces did we end up with?
- Anne: so far only6 people have booked spots on the pavement at the HI, we are allowed 8. If anyone is looking to camp at the hotel, get your request in asap as we are limited to 8 spaces and when those are gone we have to park offsite. We do however have the parking lot next right beside HI it will accommodate at least 24 to 30 RV,s or trailers

- There's been a couple of general inquiries about joining the BCC that I've responded to.
- Josee Fontaine and Mathieu Godin (Quebec) are now probationary members of the Boxer Club of Canada. Their membership application was announced last month and their sponsors have been contacted.
- No objections were received regarding the completion of probationary status as of February for Yvonne Loppnau (British Columbia), Ghislaine & Guy Genois (Quebec), and Chase & Crystal Davies (Saskatchewan). Please join me in welcoming these folks to the BCC as ordinary members!

Special Service Committee: Deb Allardyce
- From Mary Curl (via Paul Dulong): Debbie Allardyce is asking for nominations for the club's Special Service Award to be submitted by April 1st. Also, see the link on the Members only section of the website to view the criteria.
From Debbie: With our "Boxer Extravaganza" fast approaching would it not be a great time to present a Special Service Award to a well deserving member. If you know someone that you feel fits the criteria, found on our Boxer Club of Canada Inc. site at http://www.boxerclubofcanada.com/MembersOnly/Info_Docs/SpecialServiceAward.html , please send us their name(s) as well as the reasons for your nomination of them to one of the committee members by April 1st.
They may become a member of our "Hall of Honourees" which currently consists of:

- All about Pets from Royal Canin April 22 & 24th Cover letter:
- Hello Partner, Royal Canin has once again partnered with the All About Pet Show and have been allocated some booth spaces within the Breeders Row. We thought this might be the perfect opportunity for our partners to attend. This is an opportunity for Breed Clubs to showcase their breed and answer any questions show visitors might have with regards to a specific breed. The event is held over Easter Weekend at the International Centre in Mississauga, ON. For more information on the event, please visit their website at www.allaboutpetshow.com Royal Canin has covered the cost of the booth rental for the weekend and your club would receive the following: One draped 10 x 10 exhibit space within the Breeders Row Feature Area, 1 table, 2 chairs, 1 breed sign, 6 exhibitor passes, free parking, 24 hour show security. As well as the option to join the Parade of Breeders Show daily. In keeping with tradition, Royal Canin Royal Treatment, often of offered at All-Breed Shows, Royal Canin will provide an exhibitor area for our guests at the show. This will be a draped off area, were you can take a little break from the show, enjoy a snack, some coffee and rest your feet. If you are interested in the attending the show, please complete the attached form and return it directly to the All About Pet Show. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or want to discuss your participation in the All About Pet Show.

- Re 2012 National - From Monica –
- Date application is being made right now, for both the National (including Sweepstakes)Sat Apr 7, 2012 and the Obedience with the National for Fri Apr 6, 2012. Judges nominations received as to date: Mr. Bill Shelton, USA, Mr. Alberto Berrios, USA. Sweeps judges nominated: Mrs. Nancy Ingalls, Portland, Or. USA & Mrs. Zona Grupe, USA. I have not received any other nominations. Ballots will be sent by Mary Curl this week.
- The National will be held in conjunction with the Renaissance Dog Association all breed shows, April 6,7,8,9, 2012 at Heritage Park, Chilliwack, B.C. We have received a letter of invitation from Renaissance. The Boxer Club of Canada will be insured, as required, for this event.

* Secretary’s Note: As no other applications were received regarding the above National & Regional applications they would automatically be approved.
- From Feb New Business: Rally-O o Oakville Regional
- Cindy: We are in the process of becoming approved for Rally Obedience. The BCC is not currently licensed to hold Rally O trials.
- Christine - any info re the Oakville Regional?
- Judy Jury will be judging regional. ODKC is holding 4 shows two limited entry on Friday and one Sat. & Sunday
Good & Welfare – Lillian Wainwright
- Sent sympathy card to Nancy's family, Paul sent memorial donation to Pet Trust.
- Mike: For those who don't know, Nancy Stantial passed away
- Monica: My grandson Roman wants to thank the members for the lovely card they sent. He is doing very well after his open heart surgery
