LETTER OF REQUEST FROM KILBRIDE KENNEL CLUB
April 16, 2013

To the Executive of the Boxer Club of Canada

Subject:  2015 BCCI National Specialty

Kilbride & District Kennel Club (“Kilbride”) is pleased to extend an invitation to the Boxer Club of Canada to hold their 2015 National Specialty show in conjunction with our annual events.

Kilbride is a very popular destination for Specialty clubs and exhibitors. In 2013 Kilbride had 17 specialties plus an additional three co-located specialties. Of note is that the specialties include a Working & Herding Specialty and the Boxer Club of Central Ontario specialty, both of which will return in 2015.

The Kilbride show is well known for it’s international judging panels and is well attended by Canadian and American exhibitors.

Kilbride is held at the Milton Fairgrounds which is 23 acres of grass and trees in the heart of Milton, 45 minutes to Toronto International Airport. Walking distance to shopping and dining. The rings are spacious and there is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for specialty activities such as BBQ’s, seminars, and more.

From a financial perspective, we will offer the following:

The BCCI National may be managed by the BCCI show committee. The BCCI is responsible for it’s own trophies.

Proposed Judge (who has been engaged by Kilbride):
Ricardo Torres Simoes has been an All Breed judge for 35 years, licensed by the FCI and AKC. He was President of Santos Kennel Club, President of Boxer Club Paulista (two different periods), President of Brazil Boxer Club, and former member of The Judges Department of Brazil Kennel Club. Since 1971 Mr. Simoes lived in London, England for about 12 years and had intense contact with European breeders and judged many times in several countries. Moving to Miami, Florida in 1991 where he lived for many years, he applied and became a registered judge (#7273) for the AKC, for Boxers and other Working Group breeds. In the past years Ricardo has judged Specialties and Championship Shows in the United States and Canada, in Mexico and in many Latin American countries and in Europe as well as in some Asian countries
