COMMITTEE REPORTS
Show Committee:
- Anne: I have sent the nominations to Jenny she is doing the ballot for us. (for the 2013 National judges).
- Jenny: I don’t have all the bios Anne. Jack can you send me yours please. Anne are there any more Sweeps nominations.
- Anne No there was only one.
- Christine: Will member be advised as to the cost associated with each Judge
- Dave: Anne we need estimate of costs to go with the bios
- Jenny: I don't have that info if it is to go on the ballots.. I need it to make the ballots up for everyone to vote- online and mail so that I can pass it on to Mary
- Bernice: The cost relating to the judges should not go on the ballot. Members will be votin g by the dollar Sign.
- Jenny: I think that it should go with the bio section
- Dave: Travel expenses was what I had in mind Anne
- JENNY: we need to know the cost of the various judges so that we can make an informed opinion on the judge and the monetary hit he BCC will take
- Debbie Allardyce: I agree totally with Bernice the members should be making their informed decisions on the bios not the cost.
- Christine: We don’t need an exact dollar but we need to know if the Judge is charging a fee, mileage expense etc. Someone could nominate a judge that could bankrupt the club and everyone vote on the Judge and we end up with 50 entries
- Shirley; It is a rough estimate Anne. The cost of expenses should not be the deciding factor.
- Deb G: I think the members need to know the costs so they can make an informed decision.
- Shirley: Certainly, but also part of the equation should be the judges experience and whether or not that judge will help us get a good entry.
- Dave: Agreed Shirley

If more than one club or member of the Boxer Club of Canada applies for a Regional Specialty in the same Electoral Area, the decision as to who will be awarded the Regional Specialty will be determined by a majority vote of the members attending the next General meeting.
As with the National Specialty, the Regional Specialties will rotate within the Electoral Area unless no other club or member of the Boxer Club of Canada applies to hold the Regional Specialty.
