- Christine: Mary has confirmed that Royal Canin is permitted at the Erie Shores site and previously this was one of the biggest problems that and hotels.
- Mary: Regarding Royal Canin sponsorship: When I contacted RC they said they were working on budgets and would get back to me
- This looks to be a very good size show even though the hotels are a bit of an inconvenience
- Christine: Lillian did some investigation years ago when this site was first suggested. If I remember correctly they have camping and hotels are approx. 20 minutes away.

- As no other application from this area has been received this application is approved.
- Dave: We are presently working on a draft to send the CKC in regards to the changing of the standard in regards to cropping, docking and dewclaws. Our position is that we want our standard left as it is now
- Anne: how does leaving the standard the way it is effect the provinces thast do not allow docking, it kind penalizes them. Not that I want an undocked dog, just thinking aloud
- Kim: Anne all of my dogs are cropped and docked and I am in one of the provinces. this is not province law here it is the regulations that the AVMA has adopted. I go out of province for my cropping.
- Further discussion was held
- Dave: Anne all of my dogs are cropped and docked and I am in one of the provinces. this is not province law here it is the regulations that the AVMA has adopted. I go out of province for my cropping.
- Sandra: can the CKC change breed standards if the national breed club objects
- Dave: They are possibly threatening they might try this at some time but I think they are getting enough negative letters from the breed clubs they are looking at it again
- Paul: Should any correspondence with CKC on the breed standard not be sent to Agriculture Canada as well?
- Dave: As to our stand this has been discussed before at a meeting and the consensus was to leave it alone
- Sandra: how are we coming along on health clearance check for the new ckc title stuff
